With humor and nostalgia, Nora remembers the Bosphorus and Istanbul, pre-1915 Anatolian summers, Alexandria and its port, Nasser's post revolution Egypt, Hollywood and its follies, even the Scottish Highlands. NOW, IF SHE COULD ONLY REMEMBER HERSELF. Told through song and dance, with laughter and tears, Nora Armani's self-penned 'On the Couch' is a one-woman piece about identity, belonging, multiple cultural provenances and life coincidences that bring us where we are and make us who we are. Now adding Cape May, NJ to the list, Armani has performed 'On the Couch' in Paris, London, Cairo, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, Houston, Montreal and Geneva, in both its English and French versions.
